Liquid Tomorrows and Frozen Yesterdays
Sometimes i dream that i am a fox
Running in the woods & the fields.
Always in these dream i seem to be
searching the landscape of some unknown
forgotten country with every shadowpassage...
i add a strange bead to the catche of my soul quest.
The woman with long flowing hair
in the small house of twigs deep
in the briars and hedges of my slumber.
She sings about liquid tommarrows
& frozen yesterdays & invites me in
to sleep with chanting glowing leaves...
by the hearth...i always awake
and forget my labors and journies
as i rub my eyes in the other life & i forget
my fox flesh & awake to my
true self and burry the puzzeling fur
deep in the burial mounds of the day
and wait to run in the whickets of
moonlight to that echoing hearth to awake.

I love that wisdom....frozen yesterdays and liquid tommorrows.

Rereading your poetry now, I see it all in new light...amazing how our perception changes.

I have interesting dreams now, with the spirit looming within me...of swallowing scrolls of wisdoms...

I wonder what your dreams as the fox meant....:o)
