Mysterious Season
Why do the stars
rain from the skies?
Perhaps is is just some mystifying storm
of auspicious unfolding--
as the the stars drip through the skies,
& the arms of the trees,
& the ceilings of houses,
& sing unknown songs,
notes of liquid illuminations--
line after line--
as the world sleeps in the darkness of its ruts...

i can say nothing
as they flicker shooting & tumbling like fallen leaves
infinities from the branches of a silver tree.
Who has shaken
the bough & stem of the cosmos
as the earth gleams with the heavens.
In this mysterious season
the stars evaporate leaving
only my questions...

This makes me think of the end of ages...

"Who has shaken
the bough & stem of the cosmos
as the earth gleams with the heavens."

And the sun covers it's face...and the moon blushes, abashed---

...we should cowrite again my dear friend. :o)
