graduation sonnet [iambic tetrameter and triameter]
A year goes, But where? No one knows.
Café food, the shows, the fights.
In time my mind succeeds and grows
Through hard work and long nights.

As graduation comes to us
Remember ticking clocks
The sports, the arts, the looks, the bus
Remember missing blocks.

We have been taught "be fair and care"
To one who is a friend.
Through wear and tear we've learned to share
From the beginning to the end.

The foundation has been laid
Next year I'll be in the first grade

I like to a lot. The ending is great, you make the reader think that you are graduating College or high school.
