Questions Persist
Tears fall so effortlessly

and quench the thirst

of the broken heart

leaving an emptiness

that has relief

and how have we evolved

with such delicate release?

Hearts vibrate with the soul

and enflame the body

of two people

finding the place

that is time and circumstance

and how have we moved

to this condition?

Life moves around us always

and we try to understand

its essence

looking within and to thoughts

that defy our very ability

and when will we know

the answers to it all?

Just when you think you know, it shifts again. After a while it's easier to just go with it, but where's the fun in that? Very thought provoking, thanks for sharing
