“Soldier’s Blood”
A hero born from within side a person, waiting for his time of glory Slowly beginning to realized death is waiting for him on the other side He is not afraid, he embraces death likes it’s his own lost brother waiting to be found As he says his prayers and wondering what will become of him As he grips his weapon for the glory and the duty of soldier he jumps into action As soldiers die aside him realizing he is next Screams begin to be heard and slowly rises till nothing but dark silence Fearless, courageous as he dies in honor fighting till last breathe trying save every life he can Blood drops as hero slowly closes his eyes and is welcomed home to the other side.
Author's Notes:
By Brian Kethley It's about the felling some thing deep within me of becoming a soldier to protect those who gave me so much in return
