From a Poet's Pen: Two Ships in the Night
"Two Ships in the Night"

"Contrast and Brevity"

Two ships passed in the night.

One sailed slowly out of sight.

While the other stayed, only to fade,

among the morning's heavenly, heavenly lights.

Jamieson Steele

Author's Note

To see with the eyes of a child,
with his vision and experience,
opens a beautiful world.
When we leave the things of childhood behind
we still have the memories and the gifts we received.
These things are not foolish or are they a part of folly and antics.
They are to be treasured and shared.

Author's Notes:
The differences between two ships that passed in the night.
One sailed on into the night.
The other stayed till the early dawn and faded out of sight.
The two heavenly lights are the sun(a star) and venus (a planet).
