War Memories
As I wake up,
This is what I see,
Everyone I ever loved,
Taken away from me.
I can still smell,
Death looming in the air,
Why did they die,
It just isn't fair.
The screams of men,
Still echo in my ears,
I can't ever forget,
The blood, pain, or tears.
I can never forget,
Nor can I forgive,
I will endure this pain,
For as long as I live.

(I am trying to recover from writers block. this may not be good, so be gentle but honest please)

Ryan I think this is beautiful. I wish sad poems were not my passion but they are. I guess because they are the only ones I can write from my life.
