Feelings Within
Something about you I canít explain
Drawn to you like a moth to a flame
Feelings of desire filled my heart
More they grow the further we part

Reminiscing the love, I thought we shared
A part of me wished you stilled cared
I know itís time to say goodbye
For our future is no longer tied
Entwined with emotions, good and bad
The past still haunts me, and I remain sad
Only time can heal this shattered heart
Push through and begin a brand-new start
Author's Notes:
Everyone goes through emotions.  Just reflecting on my past and trying to write more these days.

It seems you've revealed the problem and the solution in one poem. Emotions are how we know we're alive. Write on...poetry thrives on emotion. Nicely done.

It has been a long long time ago, But I do remember going through the same feelings.  Thankfully, my now wife and dearest friend showed up

to dispel the gloom.
