The sounds of death
Death, silent as the moon,
speaks soft and clear to me,
with syllables unheard, its face
conveys peace and tranquility,
and listen!, how calm its gales,
and how still its eternal seas,
that I cannot drop a single tear
when it is death that should weep for me.
