SHE
She sits on the bed Sees herself in the mirror Slowly shakes her head She starts to murmur Her flaws she accepts How many there are Having once wept Hoping on a star Now her eyes see No-one is perfect Nothing is free No money, just effort Every wrinkle was caused by a smile Every broken heart caused by a person Every stretch mark caused by a child Every scar taught her a lesson Looking at her reflection Liking what she sees Loving her contemplation Living as she pleases Take the good with the bad Then you will appreciate Things you have, not had Before its too late
