The darkness of the night
A soft breeze filled the air, the movement so tantalizing that for a moment I actually caught my breath. The darkness all around me made me feel alive. I heard a sigh come forth, of pure contentment. What joy I felt. Absolute bliss! Music softly playing in the background. The breeze of the night gently moving over me. Simple thoughts, of no importance, playing throughout my mind. I was happy. Content. At peace.. And all it took was the darkness of the night, To show me the way..

Don't we ALL seek to find that "Simpler Time"

A place where reason actually has it's rhyme

We can still find glimpses and hold on tight

Often we find them. in the darkest of night

Moonie pens again! It's good to see something from you, you've got too much talent to keep your thoughts inside you!  Hugs,  Henry

Hi. Its so good to read "Moonie" again.  Love the new style. This is so lovely, peaceful and serene.

P.s. did you see who made the cover of AARP magazine? Not that you're old enough to be interested in that publication...but its probably available at the library.

Moon Star your my Day Star as well. The only thing this poem needs which I am kidding because it is perfectly you. Is the coffee mist at Sun Rise.

A soft breeze, a summer night with the crickets chirping, the stars over head. Simple things do bring bliss because they demand nothing from us and only give. Really liked reading your writing.
