God Bless Those Who Fought and Died
We are honoring those who fought and died for the USA.
We are honoring our deceased soldiers on Memorial Day.
Many soldiers fought and died so that every American can be free.
They were brave heroes and only communists would disagree.
Bob Dole fought and nearly died for his country during World War II.
The former Presidential candidate is a hero and that certainly is true.
I have only one more thing that I want to say.
God bless those who fought and died for the USA.
Author's Notes:

I fully agree with the sentiments of this work,  So many conflicts and so many casualties.  Looking back on the past 80 years  (and more) we've had so many challenges in and to our country,  I've spent the better part the last 6 years thoroughly studying World War 2, (partly because of my father's service; which he rarely talked about).  What our servicemen have gone through is compelling.  I served in the US Navy during Viet Nam, those who served didn't receive much acceptance when they returned.  It is to their credit that they held their head high for serving with honor in the face of such treatment.
