Still in dream
Had she be mine Had she be mine And I for her Alone live together happily  We would prefer. The day will break With her splendour and charm, Her glimpse will envy sun Thus more vivid and warm! Our chuckles will begin Little birds to stir Had she be mine And I for her           My valour will be heighten And conscience will never crumble, Neither will I slip Nor will stumble. Her love will ever robe My mind and fur, Had she be mine And I for her     In my company Her rage will incline, The tears in her eyes Will turn to wine In bliss I sob For my maiden choice, My friends though envy But I will rejoice. The heart now throbs With longing spur Had she be mine And I for her
