blindly I step aside
watching my confliction disappear
thankful for the touch of a girl
my lonetic existence fading in her sun
this most encompassing woman
and she watches with me
not knowing it's her eyes that cure
along with the sweet smell of her compassion
the warmth in her solar smile
and I ask for infinity
just this once
Author's Notes:
I wrote this in 2006, about a week after my 30th birthday. I had felt love again, after brooding for much too long. Although I'm no longer connected to this girl, she left an impact... And I'm rather fond of some the old writes I pumped out during my time with her. I hope you enjoy reading it. Thanks for looking!

This is a great snapshot of a moment of feeling captured. Very vivid and real. Nicely written.

This I totally relate to . . .

I had the similar experience and you just want it to become reality forever. It often doesn't.

The magic of eyes and the smiles . . . you can't forget.
