Our Wuthering Heights

I remember the snow crystals in

your hair.

And later the sun became your crown

to wear.

I remember the soft quotes from

your heart.

And watch the walls you had built

fall apart.

The view left a valley for a mountain

to start.

A pile of stones became stairs made

with heart.

You given me heaven with a walk in

the park.

Author's Notes:

Sometimes heaven is for real on earth when you meet that One

"And watch the walls you had built

and here I am watching

you hurting me

with the same brick of walls

That has fallen apart

To let you in

P.S. That aside, I love the beauty and simplicity of your poem. Love can be such a wonderful feeling!

"Watch the walls you had built fall apart"... this is truly beautiful. When walls fall and the pile of stones turns into stairs. Love the imagery and the feel of the poem!

"Sometimes heaven is for real on earth when you meet that One", yes Dan, indeed it is. This is a sheer bliss to read and imagine yourself with the one who blesses you with that kind of experience.

Hope you all is well.
