Walking Home at Night

walking home at night

over by the other older ghetto side

of my town, remembering

and reminiscing about the life I had

it had me feeling like I wanted

to go back and change something

that was missing like my old home,

my old friends, my old ways

thinking that as if maybe I would never

grow up or getting old, as I continued

my life hoping and wishing that

it will change as I am walking home at night

I can finally have some peace at last.
