My America
So, here we are, picking a fight with North Korea, and dumping on Puerto Ricans, who are desperately trying to stay alive. White nationalists Have a stooge in the White House who sold his soul to the devil in Moscow for a chance of being the most powerful man in America.
Taking on Trump's many faults is like picking ripe, low-hanging fruit. There is so much destructive behavior to call attention to, it's hard to know were to start.
Here are the bare bones of our current situation...America was sick of  business as usual in Washington that it took a chance on a candidate who promised he could fix all our problems with the ease of a winner.
We bought the smooth-talking come-on of a carnival barker. And now, everything appears to be coming apart at the seams.
I have been heartened by the participation of ordinary humans, fighting back against the steam-roller politics of Donald Trump. From the racist border wall to the Nation-wide Muslim ban he can't seem to let go of, Trump has soiled the office of the presidency in a manner unseen before.
It is our national embarrassment and shame that a self-centered sociopath could rise to the highest office in the land. Congress has to step up and learn how the address our problems, We, as Americans, have to make our voices clear.
We have come so far as a nation. We can't allow ourselves to to be dragged back to an era of burning crosses and intolerance.
I have faith in the goodness of most people. The time to speak is now. The time to act is now. We have bled too much to let fascism be the future of America.
Author's Notes:
A chronic liar will lie when the truth would serve him better. A sociopath can only mimic the humanity of other human beings. When tragedy comes, the sociopath can only pretend to feel the appropriate emotions.

Trump claimed to be an 'outsider' who could shake up the establishment and get 'great deals' done, but has so far only proven to be a thin-skinned racist grandpa who can't see the political forest for the trees. So many were upset with that same established government routine that they viewed Hillary Clinton as more of the same, but at least she was being stirred away from 'business as usual' by Bernie Sanders (and would have been a strong adviser for her if she was elected). However instead of going with someone who knew what to do; the one in office is an idiot who 'won' the electoral college but lost the popular vote through sketchy means (Russia/Putin interference). The United States was the gold standard as a Democracy even with some flaws, but with any system that will be. Trump is running the country like it is a reality show and if things get bad enough - he thinks can just quit, run away and let VP Pence take over.

Will there be a country left after Trump's antics? Will Pence be the new president? Will Ivanka let her daddy touch her the way he wants to? Answers to these and many more after these messages- Breaking news World War Three starts from Trump's Tweets! (Hopefully not)
