I've been trying to take some time..
just trying to get to know myself.
Make'n changes in my drama..
So I ain't got time for someone else's.
Keep my nose in my own shit..
and mind my own affairs.
Trying to control someone else's shit..
just causes more drama and despair.
Who needs that kind of hassle?
Do I really have that kind of time?
There's already enough on my plate..
and God says Greed IS a crime.
Learning to change the ways I react..
can make a change in my situation.
And "changing only what I can"..
was the only stipulation.
The rest I'm to "give to God"..
because only He can change the unchangeables in life.
Holding on to "the things I can't change"..
just empowers the pain and strife.
I'm learning to "let go and let God"..
because.."this too shall pass".
"Nothing we FEEL is ever permanent"..
I need to make these phrases my compass.
So yeah, I'm trying to take some time..
to just get to know myself.
I'm make'n changes in my drama...
so I cause less for someone else.
