Ahhhhhhhhh feel the vibes baby The cat on the bongos keeping time To my heartbeat Smoke, so thick I can’t see past my Fingers, as they tap out my life story on the tabletop   The poet on stage Sharing his soul for those who come to feel it A low murmur, background noise that adds To the scene   There’s a cat sitting next to me Telling me stories of when he was a star His fall from grace led him here   The café on the corner of nowhere street A place to come and just Be
