Being Broken
There comes a point when you're so used to getting hurt, you don't need to cry anymore. You feel like screaming but you just sit there in silence. You shut your eyes and just think... And sometimes you just shut down. Being broken can be so exhausting. There comes a point when you realize tears can't change anything. You've been let down by so many people, that you almost learn to just expect disappointment from everyone. You hide behind the words "I'm fine", because you will never be able to explain exactly how broken you feel, how much pain you're in... Trying seems pointless because no one will listen or understand. You just sit in silence alone because no matter how hard you try, you will never be good enough for anyone, not even yourself. You go through daily routine for your children but the joy is gone. Memories of the past fill your mind. You think of ways to die and make it look accidental... Your kids are still young, they will forget you in time.

This is definitely in the right category, depression. You could be dealing with depression, I say that frankly because anyone who speaks of suicide and thinking of ways to end their life is definitely more than sad or heartbroken. So, if this is true to life...seek help. This is incredibly sad and nobody should live like this. Hang in there and go to a doctor if you are really feeling this hopeless and broken.

My dear Jess:  I am so sorry things are not as lovely as you deserve.  Hopefully a new year will bring new and more positive loving circumstances.
