Amnesia, Part IV

Blame was a shotgun blast
Blame was my haunting past
Blame was between life and death
Blame was to be their last breath

The alcohol is but a vapor
Bloodshot eyes free of haze
All I ever wanted was absolution
All I ever got was malaise

Blame is what keeps me dead
Blame is pressed against my head
Blame is a turning of a wheel
Blame is the panic I feel

The rest I earned is a debt
A wretched whore on summer痴 eve
A window cracked across my face
Reflections of those I still bereave

Blame vacillates in solitude
Between these fingers is someone痴 end
The variable is but a quantity
A headline versus an empty grave

Rage conducting rage
I値l spill the blood of the unwashed
I値l take from them what I fought for
I値l return the honor of the damned

White hot blindness
I値l take one for every death
I値l dispatch this stress unequivocally
I値l share this disorder they shun

For every blast that makes me recoil
For every panic left ignored
A cracking pierces my ears now
A traumatic sound scatters me

Crossing the threshold
Two pairs of gleaming eyes
Stop me if you can
Murder is all I can see

Stop me, I beg of you
Can you open your eyes?
Don稚 run for the light
Murder痴 shadow is large
