The Shadow of this Man

This man is better left unknown.

Have you ever gaze into his eyes?

A mural from yesterday’s sunset.

But see his shadow in the sunrise.

For what is his lone birthright?

As he is dances into the night.

He traces a love from the past.

Called her his only first and last.

His shadow will die with its secret.

Only your love can be the deepest.

Can a mystery be finally unveiled?

The end of a shadow is to be pale.

As I read a shadow of this man ....the message is all so clear....

Love chains us to the past and our future seems so bleak sometimes...

I have felt like this so hard to trust and love again....

Powerful and heart clutching to read... Thank you for sharing

May your years be with happiness.....~ Always ~ She Whispers
