No longer "Greek" to me

"ἀγάπη” is Greek for "agape”

You’re the ache in my heart.

While strolling thru the park.

A cool night breeze with its shivers.

And goose bumps riding on quivers.

The spring to the evenings walk.

As stammering lips are mixing talk.

Still waters left for all by Your sandals.

The Brightest of all the world’s candles.

The blood came from every vein.

And one day with You I will reign.

You consumed my life today.

Can I again live another way?

Eyes declared their only desire.

Everything else waits for the fire.

At times here I can’t find complete rest.

Trumpets will sound from east to west.

You can stop or give the next breath.

And also hold the keys of life and death.

You’re the first and last piece of a puzzle.

The answered for life’s everyday struggle.

Living can be profound for difficult times.

But life with God’s agape is a wonderful gift.

You taught agape by sacrificing Yourself.

Your ἀγάπη is no longer Greek for me
