Far fetched imagination
Drawn constantly into temptations
A death wish to connections
Naïve to love
Fairy-tales still exist within my ink
Visual retrospection, mislead emotions
Deserted heart; repetitively
How I long for permanent touch
Does it ever get easy laying yourself open,
without being used?
Please give me perspicacious to my incisive mind
Living on visual emotion is how I used to express the word "Love”
Passionate, devoted, inspired by the complimentary harmony of
the birds outside my window.
I shall remain single and let my hair down
Where my cacophonous singing will just remain;
between myself and four walls.
Author's Notes:
I have so much passion inside of me, so much love and devotion yet I am still to find my Prince Charming.

To love beautiful lady you must let of the past... to have a future....

The walls must come down and you have to learn to trust once more.

.When he comes along your heart will know...You must take that leap of faith...

and have the courage to know  when its right!!!

beautiful poem... Hugs ~ India

Wow this is wonderful, i havent been on for a few days i am glad i went back and saw this,

you and I have so much in common with our hearts, and you are a shining light that should

make any man want you so bad. I feel your every emotion because I feel the same.

This is beautiful Leah.  Just don't worry.  Your soul mate will come to you.  But you DO have to be open -- not necessarily so open that you get hurt by some idiot, but open enough to see the right one when he is in your field of vision.  It's a matter of time, and luck, and God's will.  And, remember: it's always a paradox.  You might even know him NOW.  One thing is certain: if you stay within your four walls your chances of meeting him are few...   just go to the supermarket...  or the park...  he will be there.  One thing:  this is something Maya Angelou said -- I paraphrase:  WHEN SOMEONE SHOWS YOU WHO HE IS, BELIEVE HIM -- THE FIRST TIME.  If you see even a shade of something that turns you off -- in a fellow --  trust your instincts and forget him.  Love, David

This is a very lovely piece, Leah, expressing deep love and passion from within your heart. I agree, that you hold such unbridled passion that any man would be lucky to be in your thrall. Well done, my friend. xx

Someday your lovely song will reach the ears of Mr. Right and he will come and sweep you off your feet.

I enjoyed your wonderful poem.
