First Of 64, Politician Fire Storm
The laws of this world overshadow you
It's just so much struggle for such little gain
I wonder how long our government will play this game
The rich get richer the poor stay poor
this is just too bad they say, recession hit everybody equally
That's a lie, you're a liar, you work for a crooked man in a black suit

Now I shall come to you in my black suit
But it won't be taylored, it'll be stolen
Just like my pride, my push & my money
You took it all from me
You claim freedom yet tax me like a slave
You tell me we're better but my wallet's still empty

So now it's my turn to show you how this world is
Take away your money & your guards
Get rid of your unlimited visa cards
No more free trips around the world
Now you're in a basement it's dark
Welcome to my world

Politician you say? I have an opposition to say the least
Help you? Never, you didn't help me
You let a bank take my home
You let your system take half my checks
Now you expect me, after all this, to help you escape?
If you think this has a happy ending for you
You haven't been paying attention

Our system is corrupt, & you are at the core
So if I take out your core
Maybe our system will relapse
Maybe time will fix itself, but it is doubtful
So with the time I have, I will never doubt you
Because as I cut deep, & as I slice off
Screams of pain bring forth no truer thoughts

You ask why I am doing this,
I ask why not
You took my money, my home, my car
You expect me to be okay with that!?
Never, never ever even in stormy weather shall I ever be better
So now I'll take my vengeance upon you
If you think this ends with your life, you are wrong
There's still 63 other suited old men
Who's lives I will take in the night

So as I say farewell, I wish you to hell
But just in case heaven takes you home
I'll send you there burning, in a gasoline storm.

And what a Fire Storm it is..... Your wrathful and descriptive poem leaves no doubt that you

are totally fed up with the sorry state our great country has fallen into. Powerfully penned.

Linda
