Summer Of 09'
I remember you all like it was yesterday
Summertime laughs at the park
We could stay out until the sky was so dark
I wouldn't trade those memories for the world

All the late night fun
Driving around (pass the rum)
Late night dinners
When we were together we were all winners

With you and all of our friends
I would finally be fine
If I knew I would have you till the end
I could die happy

I wonder what would happen to all of us
On those warm summer nights
I clench my chest as it gets tight
As long as I had you I could die happy

With you and all of our friends
I would finally be fine
If I knew I would have you till the end
I could die happy

As we grew older I realized that you weren't there anymore
We were all walking our own path as we shut the door
I never realized how lucky I was to have such great friends
I still remember you all like it was yesterday

With you and all of our friends
I would finally be fine
If I knew I would have you till the end
I could die happy

Why did we have to say goodbye
Loneliness is the worst crime
When you left you took my heart with you
Yet I wish you luck in all that you do

With you and all of our friends
I would finally be fine
If I knew I would have you till the end
I could die happy

When I think of them I go back to the warm weather
Asking GOD to let me find my forever
I never realized how luck I was to have such great friends
I still remember them like it was yesterday

With you and all of our friends
I would finally be fine
If I knew I would have you till the end
I could die happy

Just know that I love you all so much
As tears roll down my face I try not to make a fuss
My heart screams for your love again
So this lost and tired corpsman can sleep again

With you and all of our friends
I would finally be fine
If I knew I would have you till the end
I could die happy

With you and all of our friends
I would finally be fine
If I knew I would have you till the end
I could die happy
