Among the Mists

Where among the mists shall I
find the dreams that passed me by?

Was then the lady
she bid me see
through hope’s reflected light:

How planets rise
and time stands still
the waves forget to fall;

then chance to journey
far distant lands
set my soul to try,

I said to her
please walk with me
to where the world awaits.

You hold my heart
now take my hand
beyond your borders fly.

But she bid me go
begged me not to grieve
for the mists of Avalon.

Where among the mists shall I
find the tears for love I've cried?

A deeply emotional piece, that rivals Mallory.

This is ethereal.  It also seems a ballad.  Certainly it's an expressive, subtle, and wonderful poem.  --David

The fallout of raised and dashed hopes and dreams. Sad but true.
I love myths, so many of them are based on history or to explain why things are.

Your Mists cry, a beautiful poem.
