WITH MUSIC mp3 -- Back In The Day -- re-post

Note: These are the lyrics to a song I wrote in April 2009

Note 2: I am re-posting this because I have now (by popular demand) uploaded an mp3 file of me singing the song with synth accompaniment.

Neither novel, neither fiction,
Neither fable, Neither dream
Yes, these things they really happened
In another life they seem...

Suddenly, you know it ended
Time no friend just run away
Yes, these things they really happened
Crying candle, light my way

Back to old familiar places
Back to where the record played
Back to all the friendly faces
Faces gone, that never fade.

Come at night in dream descendent
Come at night as if replay
Yes, these things they really happened
Come at night go back  in the day.

That was wonderful David, I am not sure if you will get groupies throwing their underwear at you but you never know. I will be flying in on Wednesday next week to start the formation of our group "The wrinkleys" as agreed. Dont forget to book Shea stadium.  Bill

This is excellent my friend! It's a little wistful, and little jazzy, yep, danceable!
