Word Bank Challenge -- A Question Of Character
Those who Pretend to have the utmost Humanity
lack the patience and Virtue of the Ordinary man
Silent and Secure in their arcane ways and insanity
like hungry Wolves, they're desperate for a plan
But when it all backfires, their soul's Surrounded
a much Savoured victory all goes for naught
with social Battle Scars, will they be hounded
what can't be Reclaimed, is what can't be bought
So the best that one can do, is be forthcoming
to face their truth or to simply put to Flight
because integrity can never take to slumming
they will go unnoticed, like Arrows In The Night
Author's Notes:

Great Title!   It pulled me in instantly!  And your opening line is a wise one and sets the stage.  One who pretends (at anything)  is not giving his best, his honesty, or his genuine character.  Last stanza is powerful, I like what you say about the value of being forthcoming, facing their "truth", and being Integrity keepers.   Compelling thoughts!  You did a great job with these words!  Ljo
