Back from the dead
Something almost tragic happened in 2010.
I came very close to losing my best friend.
She died and they revived her by taking electric paddles to her.
If she had perished, it would've been devastating to all who knew her.

When we rode on the school bus, she always gave me a seat.
She's very nice and everybody is priveleged who she meets.
I believe that God was behind her being saved and I know why.
God knows like I do that she's too nice of a person to die.
Author's Notes:
Dedicated to Tammy Carper who nearly perished.

Randy, I have no wish to insult your beliefs or your religion, but this woman’s recovery was due to a human being or beings who invented defibrillators and to the dedicated staff who used the device. To offer the premise that a certain person was somehow spared because they were good people flies in the face of all the very good people who die every day. Then consider all the bad people who recover from near death due to medical interventions and the whole thing begins to look somewhat untenable. I am glad your friend recovered and I am sorry that i can't accept your beliefs.

"Nearly" doesn't count when God is involved.  He has the controls.  He already knew what you've just learned.  She has more to do in this life if it is nothing more than being your friend.  Sounds like she would be a person I'd love to know.  Your both very fortunate to know and love each other.  Friends like that are worth any price to keep in our lives.  Glad she's still here for you.
