The depth of excellence in poetry

Comes not from butterflies dancing in hayfields

But from raw emotion.

From poverty stricken families, cold, on the fringes of society

From love scenes that never made the final cut

People who believe in one great act, poignant, before the end

All the deafening words whispered in fear and hope

Should be traced to parchment, to be burned.

They are endless cries for mercy

The greatest poetry should never be read by the masses

For it contains secrets, terror and so many lies.

Lost lives to negative emotions

Children screaming from wreakages of matrimony

Lost young men overtaken by substances

Old ladies that no longer have company in life

All these souls yell out to the sky

Write their thoughts away

In beauty and glory.

Lives crushed by passion crimes,

Lost teens and suicides,

Finding release from the cruel times...

The greates poetry ever written

Sears the soul...tugs at the heart...captures the mind...
