Word Bank Challenge -- Passion In The High Desert
The high desert calls....

Normally Runs silent and carnvorous, in it's desire, dares us to task
Surged to life with violins, our love concerto has just begun
the painted desert....Tinted rapture purple by love, awaits
the Delicate sweet fragrance of passion and cactus flowers
the landscape, Entwined with vistas and foliage, lush is the aspect

The bright harvest moon Shut out the past shadows, entreating your scent
Your closed distant eyes now opened wide, by the promise of amour divine
a foolish Heart filled with fragrance, might there be coital overture in play?
Unsuspectingly singing with the wind, you glide to my waiting arms
The night imprisoned under our spell, intoxicating, the balmy wind's caress

You and I, captivated by the magic of the high desert, discovering each other
this affair d'amour will Flourish without fears, the sky above is our theatre
Let us love now, and dance the Waltz of the Tranquil moon's love symphony
there be no chance of Devouring hope, the night belongs exclusively to us
so it is, my beloved, the majesty and the mystery....passion in the high desert

Oh my goodness... Just look at what you have written as well ...

It was fun putting words together and my friends come up

with such different emotions of the mind..

Its amazing how we all think so different with the same words...

I love this poem as well...  You write from the soft side of the heart...

Just like others on the site!!

Hugs and  Love ~ India

WoW! I am heading for the high desert later this month...will you promise it will hold for me the same "captivating magic"...the same "flourish without fears"...the same "devouring hope" and the same "mysterious passion"?

I loved the scene you set with the display of your words along with India's phrases...such a nice combo!   the promise of amour divine...now that's a promise!

I fear the desert will never be quite the same :)  Marvelous!  --David
