Galactic Tapestry
And there...
painted on Tapestries of darkness
the Womb of Cosmic birthings
pours forth Fountains of Life
to meld in primal Orbs
and at last to Flame
in great Spiral Wheels
of incandescent Glory
And if there be a God
he calls these places home
There in the maelstrom
of dancing gleams and glooms
Where turns the high Galactic hands of time
and a Billion Billion Suns
flower in God's universal Garden

Looking up we see
that wispy strand of Gossamar
etched on the backdrop of Night
the circling haven that gave us life
and blazes a rain of Stars
across our Firmament
There for us
to paint pictures in our Sky
of the Legendary Ones
But despite these wonders fair
at the core a Dark Devourer lies
grinding the Grist of Stars
into the unrelenting Maw of Oblivion
what unknown Life
streams to it's final end
across the Event Horizon

You paint a vivid, awe inspiring picture. One to remind us of the vastness and greatness of the cosmos and our small insignificance in it. I truly enjoyed this.
