Words of Darkness
you spin your words
this poetry of dark promise
and I am captivated
lost in the whispered rhyme
my soul awakens
and I see illuminated
a moonlit spine of crags
do you await me there
holding promise in a kiss
where blood flows
down a river of clay
and do you stand
before an alter stone
and words uttered
to a bane of winds
and will I fall before you
and beg forgiveness
even as your hooded eyes
sear my inner scape
and call me home

beautifully written, which I believe also inspired She, to write two of her very own.  I don't see a woman but many religious  undertones.  Clay = which we were made off?    Blood = blood of Christ,  the sea of blood revelations?, the sacrifies of the lamb,= passover. We all wonder about those demons and ghosts in ours lives and on that day will they too be there?  I know that God is a forgiving God, and if I ask for it forgiveness is mine.  I wrestle with this concept but I'm afraid it is I that has to forgive myself, which I don't know is possible.  A deep thought provoking piece.

Interesting play of words that speak out in Questions ..

At first I think its about a woman ....Who moves your heart ..??

yet the words to you seem to be darkness?? Yet you want forgiveness...

from what I wondered??? Yet is she calling you home???

A compelling poem that to me could mean a couple of things....??

You are indeed the mystery man.....*****

You have your poem in general....
