Andy
It was terrible to learn about you dying.
Tonight billions of people are crying.
When I learned about your death, it made me feel bad.
You had a great life but your demise makes me so sad.

You were one of the greatest actors of all time.
Being robbed of your talent feels like a crime.
You were Andy Taylor and Ben Matlock as well.
There's one word that describes you and that word is swell.

Andy was an American hero -- that's for sure.  It's in a way fitting that he passed the day before Independence Day.  I'll always remember him and Opie too! (Not to mention Aunt Bea!)  Good poem!  --David
