People wander into our lives like clouds onto thunderstorms,
Innocent, or calculating, some with love in their hearts, others with no thoughts at all.
We accept them,
We sometimes cherish them or we simply gaze at them as if they were meant to be within our midst.
Meant to be a part of us or to create something to be cherished within our hearts.
Some hearts were created for us long before we were born, some hearts created by their wishes, others created by other's dark  desires.
Sometimes, feelings flourish, sometimes they just simply fade away.
Fade away as breezes often do within our midnight dreams,
Fade away like the breath we have just now exhaled.
We dream of love, we dream of souls that may be kind to us, yet we forget how we could have been kind, loving, tender to them.
Someday, when our souls and memories are just that, memories of days gone by, will someone remember our hearts.
Will someone remember how we held them when they were lonely and needed comfort and affection,
And unconditionally our warm embrace magically appeared.
Will someone remember a warm smile proffered on a ravenously lonely, cold and rainy Sunday.
I will always remember smiles, embraces, kind words, loving and passionate moments of repose.
As for all of the rivulets of unkind words, needless resentments, foolish confrontations and petty moments of vanity,
I will cast those feelings to the winds and to the hungry appetites of the loving powers of the universe.
I will cast those feelings into the firmament so that they may be cleansed, nurtured and turned into loving breezes of forgiveness, redemption, kindness,
And returned at midnight, soft and silent, back to the hearts that spawned them to make them whole again.
Innocent, optimistic, trusting, trusting and resilient, resigned to live life, complete and whole.
Author's Notes:
I wrote this with the thought that when we wish for love, we think of what we want, seldom of what we may bring to that other person. It is so much more fullfilling to think of how we may enrich someone's  life and in return enrich our own heart in the process.

Life is such a journey..... So many come into our lives and they leave there foot prints...

WE ...all need love in our hearts to survive and we must treat people like we want to be treated.....

Thank you for such a heart felt poem that leaves its own message....

Sergio: Good thoughts on how one should treat others and hopefully be treated in return.
