Now is a mirror
Reflection defines:
What was yet is.

The past exists:
Its dull color
Its fractured lines

Twisted yet mix...
Dividing times.
Always pointless.

Remains error.

I did not fully understand this, but when I looked into it, on reflection I was staggered by the imigary here. A great work Sir.    Bill H

Einstien said that past, present and future all exist at the same time. We tend to think of time in linier terms, like a flowing river. Maybe it's more like an ocean. All the ocean exists all the time. We just experience glimpses of it like a ship sailing the sea. There are times I suspect that there's a lot about reality I don't understand... len

with the past and the present always looking back back at us reflecting through and through somewhere in the near future though still flawed but yet hopefully hopefelt and artistically and passionately better. imperfections is what adds color so long as the colors don't all run together and turn dark and black. very nice write. can inspire so many thoughts and feelings here. Always maggie.

Ah yes, the hall of mirrors in my Life.  Ever there, ever remembering, ever challenging me to move onward.

I am beginning to believe that you weren't simply touched by a muse, but swallowed her whole!
Your simple phrases provide such incredible insight my friend, you're amazing!

If you face a blank wall and imagine its a mirror what you see is only what you want to see unfortunately when faced with the real thing some still will only see what they want as with an anorexic they still see a fat person  the mind is a complex thing is it not David an insightful poem once again my friend ~Graham.

I love this one my dear....Friend ~ Love India

"Now is a mirror".... So true, we look at our reflections and reflect, we do our soulsearching as we gaze past the reflection and into what could have been. Excellent poem David, very thought provoking.   Henry

Now is the time we live in, it shows us what is, not what was, or what shall be. Now is what we should "reflect" on....nothing more. Cheers, Fireguy!
