Age Covers Us ~*~Like A Cold Drizzle
I  thought I was really dying this time
I felt the bitter cold up close

I do not feel the embrace of loyal love
or your cool air that breaths
 or the painted dawn

I want to see your luminous eyes
with color of the full moon

Have you searched for me always
without you understanding why

I want to hear your distant happy laugh
that moves through majestic mountains
like a playful warm summer breeze

So soon age covers us like a cold drizzle
if only love could spread its favor
through us with compassion

Love has dragged its tail of pain
to arrive to be kissed wit
passion for life

Beautiful words indeed -- like the whole piece -- just beautiful.  You are on fire Scarlett...

Stellar! -- not less.  I think this is a letter to G-d.  It is so beautiful I can't tell you!  Love, David

Maybe thats what they mean when they say about growing old gracefully? The cold drizzle sounds so lonely and isolated who would want to end their days like that,I'd rather go in a blaze of glory with ma boots on as you texans would say giving the grim reaper the stiff finger as I pass by in a cloud of my own dust :-)) ~Graham.
