Songs of Mother Earth.....III
I watch the day declining
and shadows cowl my eyes
standing on this shoreline
beneath a smear of clouded skies

Here sand and tide are fleeting
in cold and hard hard seas
my sorrow wrought from bitter chills
borne on a fitful ragged breeze

And as you spin toward the Sun
and the darkness fades away
I raise my eyes in gratitude
to have seen another day

You bring me golden flowers
to ease the jagged pain
and you bring me light and rainbows
to remove the shadow's stain

Will you always be here for us
even as we watch you die
will you draw down Nature's blessing
on those of us who try

A song that hits home for so many.... Nature with all her precious gifts....

For I am a child of nature and she breaths with discomfort sometimes...

Whne the breeze cools myself I feel so blessed

and when I see all the glorious colors of life and earths many colors

it makes you glad to be a live ...

I sit outside every day just to be close and loved by Mother earth..

Peacefulness is a blessing from ...Go

Thank you my dear friend for sharing your gift of  poetry  for all to read....
