It feels at times that we are the outcast.
All because of the things we did in our past.
Who should judge us though.
No one is really in the know.

we can go thru the same situations but, we are never going to feel or see another person's perspective.
We can just look in the mirror and see ourselves reflected.
this life was not made to be easy.
There is always going to be something to make us angery.

there is no point in fighting the past.
just go along with life and make things last.
we give up too easy these days.
too many people's minds have been clouded by haze.

we need to look at the big picture.
think about here and now, not your future.
we aren't guaranteed tomorrow
we can help someone get thru their sorrow.

we may be on the sidelines but, that does not mean we remain silent.
we care about people even when they are distant.

it's so easy to take people for granted.
people will forgive you for how you acted.
even we can't take this life for granted.
these are the cards we were handed.

so what are we supposed to do?
know that no matter what we will never forget you.
you took those moments to see us.
it doesn't matter that to us it wasn't enough.

the fact that we got to have those memories and emotions come out.
isn't that completely what life is about?
I will never give up on the one who turn away.
cause in the depths of your heart you wish they'd stay.

A fine soliloquy with a powerful message -- well written and most enjoyable.  Thank you for sharing
