I hear whispers
in the long dark of night
as you come to me
A high dark vision
wrought from my hunger

Ah..this vision of sweetness
a promise of ectasy's sin
This opening flower
filled with the nectar of lust
awaits a cold appetite

My shadow cast here
holds my every secret
Where cold moons wane
laying bare my rabid pains
for a moment or two.

Will you fill your need
in breaths of consummation
where the beast calls loud
and shears my soul
in this gravid wilderness

As I await the dawn light
a shattering of torment
holds my pallid heart
and a fluttering of wings
comes on the wind
