Songs of Mother Earth.....I
I have made the hard winds whisper
as you gathered round the fire
and fought against the darkness
and clenched your cold desire

I have watched the dawn light hover
above the rippling stream
spread the rising colours shining
like an echo of your dream

I have called down slopes of grasses
that have reacted to my need
where branch and bud and blossom
arise from every glowing seed

I have painted skies of crimson
and tinted waters blue
I make hard sands of deserts
and the softness of the dew

I have moved upon the waters
and high in Heaven's dome
I have placed the star Polaris
to guide the sailors home

I have moulded chance encounters
and caressed those solemn sparks
that have made the hearts of lovers
soar like precious morning larks

I have counted days of life
of all creatures from the sea
man thinks he owns the landscape
but really it is me

Bravo...Bravo.... I stand clapping to another great poem....

So truthful Mother  earth is moaning and man just listens.....

You always reach so deep inside the reader to make them understand whats happening...

I am surprised no more comments??

I Never heard back from you I know you must be real busy...

Very beautiful language.  Noble.  Biblical.  A psalm!   --David
