Run DMC
Hey now child don't you cry
We never had a chance to say goodbye
Torn between a lovers game
There isn't much shame

Don't you worry DMC I'm gone now
But I never had a chance to upright that frown
I am sorry for that I've done

I ain't the one pointing the gun
Haven't finished what I sung
The fighting hasn't even begun

I wish you knew both sides
How hard I tried just to get by
Or how hard I cried

I love you more than you can know
It kills me to see you go
You don't even know
How hard it is to get lost in all that snow

Run DMC
The fighting has only begun

I ain't the one pointing the gun
Haven't finished what I sung
The fighting hasn't even begun

I wish you knew both sides
How hard I tried just to get by
Or how hard I cried

You only know one side
Yet we had to say goodbye
I miss you deeply

I'm sorry for what I've done
There is not fun in seeing you sad

Run DMC
I'll always be there

I ain't the one pointing the gun
Haven't finished what I sung
The fighting hasn't even begun

I wish you knew both sides
How hard I tried just to get by
Or how hard I cried

Run DMC
I'm always here.

As a poem, I like it.  However, I haven't a clue as to what DMC means, or is.  Must be a youth thing we, as old goats, don't associate with anything.  Sorry.  You lost me with this one.
