standing tall,
six feet to fall,
we sway in tune,
to the bassoon,
playing our live's dirge,
waiting for our love to surge.
high into the sky
the full moon will fly,
changing our shadows
to shapeshift beneath the moon.
we cry and howl,
and shed the cowl
to reveal the fear,
in every eye.
with no reason why
we have to kill.
the madness rages,
and never ages
with the passing years,
we shapeshift and trick the moon.

A powerful poem that presents a primal picture of the animal, man.  We are not comforted.  We can't accept the shadows, yet we are afraid that we have no choice.  You have the gift to express deeply unconscious thoughts and feelings -- by way of writing.  The answer is simple: write and write and write.  You have no choice but to see.  It's not easy.  But there's paper.  And there's pencil.  And they are here for you. --David

An eerie tale which whole-heartedly gets my seal of approval.  Beautifully crafted sir
