I am passions flower.
Touch my lips of red
My scent, inhale
My eyes, stare into
My body, hold close.

For with you I am me
I am love at its best
To make you forget
All the rest.

I am passions flower.

In the early morning hours
We lay, you and I
Side by side
Our heart beats as one.

Our love to never be undone
Never to break apart
For within our hearts
We saw love from the very start.

So let no one trespass against us
Nothing to break us apart
For our love shall last forever
With you always in my heart.

Ya know, I am happily married, would never do anything to jeopardize that, but there is something about your poems that makes me feel like they are written straight for me.  I know .... that's nuts.  I just love your poetry about love.  Makes me realize that I take my wife for granted far too much.  Think I'm going to have to do something about it.  Christmas is over, new Years is over, birthdays are over, ... question is what?
Our love to never be undone

Never to break apart

For within our hearts

We saw love from the very

That is exactly how I feel about her.  I feel like my life started the night we got married. (7:00 PM, September 11, 1976)

Loved the poem

wow Girl!!!  One of your best...if not THE best!   It is so pure...yet so intense!  favorite line, "so let no one trespass against us".  yes, that is loyal love!

maybe someone should take this work of art and transform it into a love song!! 10 here we come.   oh, probably has too much classic appeal for the pop generation...classy and sexy, like you do best!  Loved it!  and with wild enthusiasm...into my faves!

... and what else can one anticipate from 'passions flower'?
Thank you 'Passion Flower' -- Moonie, P. F.

PS. May this be a love prescription to those, who, yet, doubt how to go about love & passion.

Oh how true your words do ring Moonie, love is the strongest of all bonds and when two hearts are together as one it can be a most formidable force!    Hugs,   Henry
