Wolf Song
Grey sleek shadow
hard against the snow
unseen
Stealth springing surprise
and death
Ululating songs
through a high plains night
Denizen of darkness
Spirit on the wind
Sing to the Moon
forever

'Wolf Song' is an unusual poem.  I like it -- but it scares me.  Somehow the 'natural' wolf is more frightening to me than your average axe-murderer.  It's peculiar.  Regardless, a fine poem.  Full of color and shades of silvery silence.

The spirit of the wolf permeates it's environs and sings the song of the loner's oblivion. Fine work.

I have to say that I really like this poem and think its a really good character piece. I love your structure and your language and I love how you get the balance between the beauty and the eeire mystery of the wolf. Bravo.
