This Old Cabin

" This Old Cabin "

It's beauty may be rustic and old
But, is as beautiful as the early spring
Bringing forth stories untold
To the wise, and humble at heart it will cling
Leaving forth, only warm memories to be told

As the beauty shines from it's timbered frame
Old fashioned landscapes, consumes it's view
Where memories of grandpa and grandma remain
As a token of their love still grows, for me and you
May our love for them contuine to grow and be the same

From this rustic home décor, and grandma's rocking chair
To random things in the back yard of display
Oh how yesterdays memories bring forth, enough love to share
From front porch pickiní in to hear grandpa sing or pray
" I want us to be together in heaven " nothing else could compare !

To these random thought's, filled with priceless love
Twas a formed home, of years gone by
It's beauty marks leave behind thoughts of
How fast life can surely pass us by, before we all shall die
And return to our heavenly home above

Grandpa's Favorite Song To Us!

I WANT US TO BE TOGETHER IN HEAVEN

I

YOU MAY HAVE A FANCY CAR,
A BRAND NEW HOUSE THAT SHINES BY FAR.
YOU MAY LIVE TO BE A HUNDRED YEARS OLD.
BUT IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN SAVED
IT ALL ENDS IN THE GRAVE.
BUT I WANT US TO BE TOGETHER IN HEAVEN.

II

YOU MAY BE A MILLIONAIRE
WEARING CLOTHES BEYOND COMPARE.
YOU MAY HAVE THE BEST THAT MONEY CAN BUY.
BUT IF THE BLOOD IS NOT APPLIED
THEN IN HELL YOU'LL LIFT YOUR EYES
BUT I WANT US TO BE TOGETHER IN HEAVEN.

CHORUS

I WANT US TO BE TOGETHER IN HEAVEN.
I WANT TO WALK DOWN THE STREETS OF PURE GOLD.
I WANT TO RUN THROUGH THE FIELDS OF GREEN CLOVER.
SEE THE MANSION SMELL THE FLOWERS
HEAR THEM SINGING IT'S ALL OURS
SEE THE RIVERS GENTLY FLOWING
FEEL THE GENTLE BREEZES BLOWING.
I WANT US TO BE TOGETHER IN HEAVEN.

ENDING
WILL WE BE TOGETHER IN HEAVEN.
