Our song is softly playing...
My love..
Our song is softly playing
The darkened night filling us with wonder
And that ole so beautiful moon!
Large and so bright
Do you see the stars?
Shinning their magical dust
Upon two lovers such as us
You take my hand
Bring me close to your form
Then we start to slowly move
Swaying to the soft sounds
Your heartbeat, slow, steady
I listen to its gentle tone
And your scent..
Ohhh, so sweet, musky, so very familiar
I close my eyes
My head cradled on your shoulder
The feeling so right
Our bodies swaying with the wind
As it gently touches our forms
Tingling against my cheek
And I sigh..
We are alone, you and I
Nothing, no one, but us two
Two lonely souls searching
In the darkness of the night
For a feeling so rare
So special
Yes...
Searching, for love.

Sshhhh..
I gently hold my finger against your lips
No...
I don't need to know your name
Just hold me
Close, like you are now
Making the world go away
Even for just a few short hours.

Oh how exquisite it is.

~~~
My love..
Our song is softly playing...
Moonie,  Living and loving in the moment, what a wonderfully written poem, so beautiful, soft and seductive. You describe an amazing night "dancing in the moonlight".  Tina
This is beautiful, romantic and sad...IT speaks to me of loneliness and desperation. This is truly wonderful writing, kid...
Moonie, what an elegant romantic ballad you have here.
Loved it so very much,
I'm still dancing................
