The Last Miles
What are you really thinking and feeling
I try to pull back your hidden emotions
trying to peel back your heart

Trying to unravel all your poetic verses
that are hidden in your very soul

Have I learned something about you at all
or have I exposed something about myself
~**~
Walk with me the very last miles of life
we have waited forever and a day

Place my heart beside yours
 as loyal loving proof you
really do exist

My Only Heart Is All
I Have To Give....
My Love I Pomise You ....

She,  To love truly one has share a piece of their soul and open their hearts to the journey.  A beautiful poem.  I loved it of course.  Tina

I am privilege every day to hold your heart in my hands as i peer inside.

Sometime it mirrors my own as if together we were walking side by side

You have such a romantic soul, very well written.

Dear respected She Whispers,

You never stop with mere words

You follow it up with kind action

whether I read your poem or not

You promptly give a comment

Frankly speaking about you

Only your name is in my mind

No woman's name is registered

As you have encouraged like that

SheWhispers will ever be remembered

For her acts of kindness and patting

I am writing in nearly forty sites

But, I know only SheWhispers' name

With best wishes, Thanking you, Yours truly,

mvvenkataraman

To me this is a poem about communication...a plea for confirmation expressed with hopefulness...my favorite lines:

"Walk with me the very last miles of life

we have waited forever and a day"

I should agree with David here, and add that, is there really "an end", or there will always be a day followed!

Enjoyed it immensely

'The Last Miles' is an exquisite poem.  For some reason it makes me feel sad...  is it the hint of 'The End' --maybe?  -- Nostalgia is here: is there such a thing as nostalgia for the future?  Dunno...  This is one terrific piece.  Warm.  Simple.  Pure.  --David
