I pushed you away,
I doubted your word,
For what you did say,
I could not have heard.
          You pushed me away —
          But be something else —
          I did not delay...
Since true -- my love false.
What now you admit?
You caused me to hurt?
Was that really it?
Cared not for my heart?
          I did what I did,
          And said what I said,
          A coward... I hid!
          (...True love’s never dead.)
Then leave me alone! —
For now to remain;
No care have you shown —
But left me in pain.
Tho’ such be not long...
My song become gay —
For did I no wrong —
To push you away.

Guys this is great and you make it work.  I love the last two stanza's and hey David of course your heart is gay, the guy never does anything wrong.  LOL just kidding.  Tina

The relationship analogy in hindsight. Some point scoring is obvious, but what is more obvious, is the argument and telling the story from one side only. It would be really great if the other side told his version of what happened to this loving relationship. And what is even more obvious is that, love is still there and needs rekindling and not letting the fire fade away.

A great collaboration
